Creative Practice

Beyond Design
Beyond design, Loveya explores filmmaking and photography to expand his creative perspective. He develops a personal visual language through self-guided experimentation, integrating lessons from other mediums back into his design work. He also enjoys FPS gaming as a way to reset and spend time with friends. Inspiration comes from film, photography, and digital culture, with even small fragments of media feeding new ideas that influence his creative approach.

Spark Center at DePaul, Graphic & Motion Designer

Created motion graphics, animations, and presentation materials to support the center’s research and design projects.
Developed visuals that balanced clarity and creativity, ensuring complex ideas were communicated in an engaging way across both print and digital platforms.
Print Lab at DePaul, Assistant

Worked hands-on with print production, exploring different techniques and materials while assisting students and faculty with projects.
Helped with quality control, troubleshooting, and preparing files for output. Designed and produced signage and other print pieces that supported the lab’s operations.
Freelance, Graphic Designer

Worked with clients on branding and visual identity projects, including a full company profile and supporting print materials for Atmosphere Studios.
Created logo variations, t-shirt graphics, and other design assets. Managed client communication, revisions, and timelines from start to finish, delivering solutions that aligned with each client’s vision.

Co-founded and co-managed a small business, leading branding and design efforts from logo and website to packaging and marketing collateral.
